Ana Towe received second place in the Best Student Presentation category at the 71st Annual International Wildlife Disease Association Conference.

She made her presentation “Impact of Batrachochytrium salamandrivorans exposure on Eastern newt reproductive fitness” at the conference held July 29-Aug. 4 in Athens, Ga. The presentation was also a chapter in her dissertation.

Towe earned both a PhD and DVM degree from UT.
